Cloudbreak LLC · Founder

Cloudbreak is my own company, which I started in 2019. I am based in Freeport, Maine. I run it alongside my day job, and I run all of it myself.

Since May 2024

ezCater · Senior project manager

A table spread with plates of food

I work in ezCater's project management office. Most of my projects are integrations: the work of getting ezCater's catering menus and orders to flow into the systems a restaurant already runs on, so nobody has to type them in twice.

Since 2024

Peaks to Portland · Race director

Swimmers wading into Casco Bay at the start, with kayaks waiting and Portland across the water

Peaks to Portland is a 2.4-mile open-water swim from Peaks Island to Portland's East End Beach. It is the YMCA of Southern Maine's biggest fundraiser for kids' programs, and it had not been held in person since 2019. I was race director for its return and for the two years after, working with the YMCA's leadership and staff.

A desk at home with a laptop and a second screen

Sherpaneer is a Salesforce consulting partner founded in 2021. I joined in its first year with very little Salesforce experience, and was there as it grew to about twenty people.

Blackboard · Technical project manager

Blackboard is the education software company. I joined the month it announced its merger with Anthology.

July 2018 – September 2021

ASC Engineered Solutions · Senior project manager

A launch pad and its water tower at dusk

Anvil International made pipe fittings and supports for large industrial projects. A year after I joined it merged with Smith-Cooper, and in 2021 the combined company became ASC Engineered Solutions.

Electric Boat · Project engineer

USS La Jolla cut into sections in dry dock, 2015

Class Board

The Class Board showing a day's workout

The day's workout on the gym's screen at Beacon Community Fitness and Yarmouth Community Fitness, written once and shown for three ability levels.

Before it, the closing coach at each of the two gyms wrote up the next day's whiteboard every night at the end of their shift, about 30 minutes each. The Class Board ended that: an hour saved every day.

I taught myself Python to build this: a web app that does the gym maths for you, with percentages, one-rep maxes and a log of your lifts.
